Industry Research and Expertise
I specialise in space sustainability, very low earth orbit operations, orbital debris mitigation policy, and small satellite regulation and licensing. I have given lectures on these topics to both professional and public audiences, and spoken before the United Nations Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space (UNCOPUOS). My work on these topics has been published by Springer Nature and the European Space Agency.
Space Entrepreneurship as a Founder
I founded an award-winning space startup which interviewed for the Y Combinator Accelerator program and raised research funding from the UK Satellite Applications Catapult. Since then, I’ve focused on democratising access to space by working directly with venture capitalists and technical experts as a founding fellow of the On Deck Deep Tech fellowship.

With my time and experience at Donaldson & Burkinshaw and as a Space Law Research Team Lead for the Space Generation Advisory Council, I have advised the governments of developing space nations on their draft legislation and national space policies.
Army Officer and Author

Before I was a lawyer, I was an Army Officer in the Singapore Armed Forces. I served as a Battalion Staff Officer in the Army Engineers, managing a full complement of soldiers, armoured vehicles, equipment, and weapons worth millions of dollars. I have also either led or been involved in major Army and Forces-wide projects concerning strategic training doctrines, tracked maintenance and recovery operations, and equipment management and accounting.
